Abstract Submission

Abstracts are to be submitted via the online conference system ConfTool.

During the submission process, you will be asked to select the preferred presentation format, enter all authors, title, a short summary text and up to five keywords. Please use the abstract template, indicating the required format. The upload of a separate text file will be required.

PhD and MSc students (<32 years) can indicate if they would like to participate in the Young Scientist Award. Please also indicate during the submission process in the ConfTool if your abstract is associated to one of the proposed Workshops and Special sessions.

The document presented in the link above serves as a formatting template for authors submitting an abstract to the 45th EARSeL Symposium, to be held from 29 September – 02 October 2026, in Athens, Greece. It contains all the necessary style elements to prepare the abstract in the preferred format. This abstract will be used to assist the organizers in selecting papers for oral presentations and posters and in designing the technical program. The document itself is set out using the layout and styles for the abstract. Your abstract should be saved in a file named as follows: “ID_Name of Author_Athens_2026”. Your ID can be found in your user account details in ConfTool. The document must be uploaded in ConfTool in pdf format to be considered for review.
